Lego's Matter Lab
Second Grade Students used Lego pieces to illustrate how smaller parts of matter can be put together to make larger parts of matter. Each team was given a bin of identical Legos. The teams constructed a design and then switched bins for groups to modify the building. Finally students created collage with pictures of all the designs to show how the same pieces of matter can build different bigger parts.
