21 Elephants and Still Standing
We read "21 Elephants and Still Standing" by April Prince, to learn about how the Circus used elephants to test the Brooklyn Bridge when it opened. Then, students worked in teams to build their very own bridge. Groups planned, built, tested & improved their designs to create the perfect bridge! We used mini elephants to test their designs and see how many elephants they could fit on their creations.
