Starting from STEAM on a traveling cart, learn how our STEAM Lab

evolved into the classroom that all the students want to visit.

Originally STEAM pushed into the grade level classrooms on a cart. Then, we were able to share the Library and Music room since teachers were on a revolving schedule. As the program evolved so did the needs of a room to set up and hold all of our materials. Finally we were able to use an extra classroom to build our Primary School STEAM Lab.

Starting with hand me down furniture and extra supplies we researched, planned and finally ordered what we needed. Life size Legos help make the room pop! Colored lab tables help students and material stay organized. Stools allow for students to easily stand or sit to work. Storage was also important!
